FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Olathe, KS and serve the greater Kansas City area! I am oftentimes in the Wichita, KS area and am happy to meet if our calendars line up. All other travel inquires, feel free to email me. I do have an extended travel fee but am always down for a new adventure!
Can I choose where I would like my photos taken?
It totally depends on the distance from my current location. If you have a spot in mind within a 30 minute drive of my house...LET'S GO! If it's further than 30 minutes, no worries! I'm still down to travel! There will simply be an added travel fee. I'm always down to explore new spots! If you don't have any ideas, leave it up to me! I like to scout out the perfect places and will be sure your pictures are breathtaking.
Are there any additional fees?
Studio Rental
If you would like your session to take place at a studio in the Kansas City Metro Area, the studio rental fee will be added to your session fee in order to cover the rental cost. The price will vary dependent on the specific studio and their personalized rental fees.
Additional Retouching
All images included in your gallery will be edited based on my current editing style. If you desire more specific edits (e.g. background changes, additional skin/hair touch-ups) I will require an additional fee of $20 per image.
Rush Gallery Delivery - $100
If you are in a hurry and need your photos earlier than my general turnaround timeframe there will be an additional "Rush Gallery" fee.
When will we get our photos?
I will send you a few "sneak peek" images within the first 48hrs of your session! I know how eager you can be to see what your photos will look like. ;)
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 2 weeks (typically less depending on the season I photograph your story). I'll be sure to give you a more specific timeline after your session!
In your personal Client Gallery you can download all the photos, choose your favorites, and share them with who you please!
How many pictures will we receive?
This depends on the package you purchase. You can expect a gallery size anywhere from 30-50+ images depending on how long your session is. Each package includes your FULL edited gallery! You do NOT have to pay additionally for any extra photos. I edit all the best photos for you to keep and cherish always.
Retainer/Cancellation
A $350 non-refundable retainer is required to confirm every session.
The remainder of your invoice is due the day before your scheduled session.
I totally understand…life is WILD. That’s also why it’s BEAUTIFUL! If something comes up and you need to cancel, that’s totally fine. Just give me a heads up! Please let me know at least 24hrs prior to your scheduled session so that I can plan accordingly. Hopefully we can reschedule for a time that works best for you. If not, no hard feelings!
Rescheduling
Like I said, life is WILD and unpredictable. That’s why it’s beautiful and fun! If something unexpected comes up and you need to reschedule, no problem!
Your initial $350 non-refundable retainer is transferable due to rescheduling as long as you have given me a 24hr notice of the initial booked session.
The rescheduled session must take place within 30 days of the original scheduled shoot date. Once 30 days have passed your session will be considered permanently canceled.
Sessions can only be rescheduled once to be fair for the availability of other clients. Please check your calendar closely and pick a date you can guarantee will work with your schedule!
Late Arrival/No Show
Be sure to plan ahead & accordingly! I know what it’s like getting small children dressed and out the door on time…it’s no easy feat. However, your scheduled shoot time is YOUR time!
If you are 10 minutes late to your 60 minute session…you will only have 50 minutes of shoot time.
If you are 20 minutes late, your session will be considered canceled and your retainer will be forfeited.
Time is precious! Let’s not waste it, friends!
How do I pay you?

I will email you your invoice breaking down your full session price.
Payments can be made directly from that invoice via Credit Card or a Direct Bank Payment. You can also bring cash to your session to cover the remaining expense.
Online payments are preferred.
